How we will work together:
Sunset Bookkeeping Solutions works with 'Cloud' Software. This allows the client to be able to have access to their own books and see what is happening at all times. The client is always in control of their own company's books.
With the bank feed connected, we're able to download the bank and credit card statements directly, without my having to nag you for them. (That being said, I will still have to nag you approximately every one or two months for you to re-connect them when the feeds get unconnected due to bank security) Sorry about that. 😒
DEXT: We use an app called "Dext". On your end, that means downloading the app onto your smartphone. Each time your business buys something, you just take a pic of the receipt in the app and hit submit. The pic will come to the main program at my end, where I will check the pic and confirm the date, amounts, payment method and allocate to the correct expense.
Dext also allows sales to be sent through it, and even expense reports. I will send simple instructions for the do's and don'ts for Dext upon signing.
I can send PDF copies of your receipts that were put into Dext, to you through Dropbox. You can then store these either on your computer, or on a USB, easier than holding on to that shoebox for 7 years right!
REPORTS: I will send your reports to you once a month - Profit and Loss and Balance Sheet, and any others that you are interested in seeing. As always, you are in control of what reports you would like to see in your business so you can make informed decisions.
Your payroll reports will be sent after every pay cycle. Even if the payroll isn't being done in QBO, you will still have the complete year to date detail to provide to a new bookkeeper or accountant to process the T4s, in the case we go our separate ways, or heaven forbid - I get hit by that proverbial truck! Ouch!
COMMUNICATION: Communication is always welcomed and encouraged. However, due to our working to a schedule and requiring to focus exclusively on the needs of the client we are working on at the time, emails will only be checked in the morning, noon, and 3:30 pm.
If there is something urgent on your end that you require an immediate response for, please just give us a call, and we will do our best to get you that answer right away.
